Car
If you are traveling by car from Clackmannanshire, you can take the A907 road towards Alloa, then merge onto the M90 motorway towards Perth. After approximately 16 miles, take exit 2A to merge onto the A92 towards Kirkcaldy. Continue on the A92 for about 7 miles, then take the exit towards Burntisland. Follow signs for Burntisland, and then follow local signs to the Fife Coastal Path at Kinghorn, Burntisland KY3 9TG. There is free parking available at the start of the path.

Public Transportation
To reach the Fife Coastal Path via public transportation, start by taking a train from Alloa station to Dunfermline Town station. From there, transfer to a train heading towards Kirkcaldy. Alight at Burntisland station. From Burntisland station, it is a 15-minute walk to the Fife Coastal Path. Follow the signs towards Kinghorn, and you will see the path entrance. Train tickets may vary in cost, but expect to pay around £10 for a return journey. Be sure to check the train schedule for the most current departure times.

Bus
You can also take a bus from Clackmannanshire to Burntisland. Board the X26 or X27 bus from Alloa or Clackmannan, which will take you to Dunfermline. From Dunfermline, transfer to a bus heading towards Burntisland. Once you arrive in Burntisland, it is a short walk to the Fife Coastal Path. The total bus fare is approximately £5 for a return trip. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most accurate times.
