Car
From any location in Derbyshire, set your GPS to 'Cromford, Wirksworth, Matlock DE4 4GT'. If you're coming from Matlock, take the A6 heading towards Cromford. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto the B5036 towards Cromford. Follow the B5036 until you reach the junction with the A5012. Turn right onto the A5012, and Black Rocks will be on your left. There is nearby parking available, but be aware that some car parks may charge a fee (around £2-£4 for a day).

From Derby, take a train to Matlock Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Matlock Station, exit and catch the bus number 6 (or 6.1) towards Wirksworth. Get off at the 'Cromford' stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Black Rocks. Follow the signs to Black Rocks; the route is well-marked, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary, and a single bus fare is around £2-£3.
