Bus
From Edinburgh city center, head to the bus station at St Andrew Square. Take the Lothian Buses number 43 or 40 towards South Queensferry. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'South Queensferry, The Loan' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs to the Forth Bridges. It's a 15-minute walk along the scenic path to the viewpoint.

Make your way to Edinburgh Waverley Station and catch a train towards Dalmeny Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Dalmeny Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the A904. Cross the road and follow the path along the A904 towards South Queensferry. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the viewpoint.

If you're already in South Queensferry, simply walk towards the waterfront. Head towards the Forth Road Bridge where you'll find signs directing you to the Forth Bridges Viewpoint. The walk from the town center to the viewpoint takes about 15-20 minutes, offering stunning views along the way.
