    From central Edinburgh, head to the bus stop at 'St Andrew Square'. Take bus number 27 towards 'Kinross'. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Kinross, Park & Ride' stop. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to RSPB Scotland Loch Leven. Head southwest on the B9097 road until you reach the reserve.

  • Train and Bus

    Start at Edinburgh Waverley Station and take a train to 'Dunfermline Town' station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dunfermline Town, exit the station and catch bus number 205 towards 'Kinross'. Get off at the 'Kinross, Park & Ride' stop. From there, walk southwest on B9097 for about 15 minutes to reach RSPB Scotland Loch Leven.

  • Cycle
