    If you're in the South Side, the most straightforward way to reach the Glasgow Botanic Gardens is by walking. Head northwest towards Pollokshaws Road (A77). When you reach Pollokshaws Road, turn left and continue until you reach the junction with Great Western Road. Cross over to Great Western Road and continue walking straight. After about 20-30 minutes, you will see the entrance of the Botanic Gardens on your left at 730 Great Western Road, G12 0UE.

    From South Side, you can catch a bus to the Botanic Gardens. Look for bus stops along Pollokshaws Road or Victoria Road. Buses like the 4 or 6 will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop ‘Great Western Road’ near the entrance of the gardens. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, and a single bus fare is approximately £2.50.

    If you prefer the subway, head to the nearest subway station in South Side, which is usually the 'Shields Road' station. Take the subway towards the 'Partick' direction.
