Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Tarbert, which is centrally located on the Isle of Harris. From Tarbert, take the A859 road heading southwest. Continue on the A859 for approximately 22 miles until you reach the junction for the B887 road. Turn right onto the B887 and follow the signs for Huisinis. After about 3 miles, you will arrive at Huisinis Gateway, which is located at Huisinis, Isle of Harris HS3 3AY. There is a parking area available at the gateway.

For those using public transportation, take the bus service from Tarbert to Huisinis. The bus service is operated by Macleod's Coaches, and you can catch the bus at the Tarbert bus station. Ensure to check the timetable in advance as the service may not be frequent. The bus will take you along the A859 and B887 to Huisinis Gateway. Once you arrive, be sure to check the local bus schedule for return trips, as the last bus may leave in the late afternoon.
