If you're driving, head towards the A87 road which connects the Isle of Skye to the mainland. From Portree, drive southwest on the A87. Continue on this road for about 30 miles (48 km) until you reach the village of Dornie. As you approach Dornie, you'll see signs for Loch Duich. Follow the signs, and you'll find several scenic viewpoints along the way, perfect for a quick photo stop. There are no tolls on this route, but ensure to fill up on fuel in Portree or Broadford as gas stations are limited.
