    If you are driving, head towards Matterdale, located near Penrith. From the A66 road, take the B5320 towards Ullswater. Continue on this road until you reach the Aira Force car park, which is well-signposted. The car park is the closest access point to Aira Force Waterfall. Please note that there is a parking fee of around £5.00 for the day.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a train to Penrith Station. From Penrith, you can catch a bus on the X5 route towards Keswick, which stops at Aira Force. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary. The nearest bus stop to the waterfall is just a short walk away.
