If you are coming from further afield, take a train to Windermere station. From the station, you can catch the 555 bus service that goes directly to Brockhole. The train journey will vary in time based on your starting location, but from Manchester, it takes about 1.5 hours. Be sure to check the train schedules ahead of time. The bus fare from Windermere station to Brockhole is approximately £3.
