Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Manchester Piccadilly Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn left onto London Road (A635(M)). Walk straight until you reach the junction with Piccadilly. Continue straight onto Piccadilly, passing the large roundabout. At the next junction, turn right onto Newton Street. Continue walking down Newton Street for about 5 minutes until you arrive at 57A Newton St, where the Greater Manchester Police Museum & Archives is located.

• Bus

  From Manchester Piccadilly, walk to the bus stop located on Piccadilly Gardens. Take bus number 56 or 50. After a short ride, get off at the Newton Street stop. From there, it’s a short walk down Newton Street. The museum will be on your left at 57A Newton St.

• Tram

  From any central tram station, take a tram heading towards St Peter's Square. Get off at the St Peter's Square stop. From there, head east on Peter Street, then turn right onto Princess Street. Continue onto Portland Street and then turn left onto Newton Street. The Greater Manchester Police Museum & Archives will be at 57A Newton St, about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a taxi, you can easily find one at various taxi ranks around the city center. Simply tell the driver to take you to '57A Newton Street, Manchester M1 1ET'. The ride from most central locations should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.
