If you are starting from the city center, head to Piccadilly Gardens. From there, take the bus number 41 or 142 towards Fallowfield. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Oxford Road (Whitworth Park)'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Oxford Road, and you will see The Whitworth on your left.

From Manchester city center, make your way to the St. Peter's Square tram stop. Take the tram towards the 'East Didsbury' direction and get off at the 'Oxford Road' stop. After disembarking, head south on Oxford Road for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Manchester Academy on your right; keep walking, and The Whitworth will be on your left-hand side, just past the park.
