To reach Glaslyn Nature Reserve by car from central Montgomeryshire, start by heading southwest on the A489 towards Machynlleth. After approximately 10 miles, take the A470 exit towards Machynlleth. Continue on the A470 for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto the A487 towards Aberystwyth. After about 2 miles, take a right turn onto the B4353 towards Aberhosan. Follow the B4353, and watch for signs indicating Glaslyn Nature Reserve. The reserve is located at Aberhosan, Machynlleth SY20 8RE. Parking is available nearby, but please ensure you adhere to any parking regulations.

Once you arrive at Machynlleth station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right outside. Inform the driver that you are heading to Glaslyn Nature Reserve. The bus stop closest to the reserve is a short walk away, and you can follow signs to reach the entrance of the nature reserve. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as service may be limited.
