Walking
If you're starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn right onto Neville Street and walk straight for about 0.3 miles (500 meters) until you reach the junction with Westgate Road. Cross over to the left side of the street and continue straight onto Grey Street. After about 0.2 miles (300 meters), you will reach the Theatre Royal. From there, turn left onto Grey Street and then take a right onto High Bridge Street. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Dean Street. Follow Dean Street for about 0.1 miles (200 meters) until you see a small road on your left called Friars Street. Turn left onto Friars Street, and you will find Blackfriars Medieval Friary on your left at Friars St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4XD.
