Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Newcastle upon Tyne, such as the Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Neville Street. Walk straight along Neville Street until you reach the junction with Grainger Street. Turn right onto Grainger Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will see St John the Baptist Church on your right-hand side, located at Grainger St, NE1 5JG. The church is easily identifiable by its impressive architecture.

If you are near Eldon Square, head towards the bus stop located at the Eldon Square Shopping Centre. Take a bus heading towards the city centre, such as the Q3 or 8. Get off at the stop called 'Central Station.' From there, exit the station, walk towards Neville Street, and follow the street until you reach Grainger Street. Turn right onto Grainger Street, and continue for about 5 minutes until you see St John the Baptist Church on your right.

If you are near a Metro station, take the Metro towards Haymarket or Central Station. If you arrive at Central Station, follow the instructions above for walking. If you arrive at Haymarket, exit the station and walk down Northumberland Road towards the city centre. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Grainger Street, then turn left. Walk along Grainger Street for about 10 minutes until you see St John the Baptist Church on your left.
