    If you are starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Neville Street. Turn left onto Neville Street and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Quayside (South Shore Road). Continue walking along the Quayside until you see the Millennium Bridge. Cross the bridge, and once on the other side, continue straight. You will reach the area of Castle Garth. The Black Gate is located just past the Newcastle Castle, on your left at The Black Gate, NE1 1RQ.
