Walking
If you are starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Neville Street. Turn left onto Neville Street and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto Westgate Road. After about 0.3 miles, you will reach the junction with St Mary’s Place. At this junction, take the right turn onto Northumberland Road. Follow Northumberland Road, and you will see the entrance to the Newcastle city walls on your left. The coordinates for the city walls are approximately 54.9678929, -1.6137169.

Walking
From Eldon Square Shopping Centre, exit onto Northumberland Street and head towards the Quayside. Continue straight until you reach Blackett Street, then take a right onto Grey Street. Follow Grey Street until you reach the junction with Dean Street. Turn left onto Dean Street, and continue until you reach the Quayside. At the Quayside, turn right and walk along the river until you see the Newcastle city walls on your left.

Walking
If you are at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, exit the building and head south towards the Quayside. Cross the Millennium Bridge and continue walking straight. As you approach the end of the bridge, turn left onto the path that leads towards the historical area. Continue until you reach the Newcastle city walls, which will be visible on your right-hand side.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Eldon Square, take a bus heading towards the Quayside area. Buses such as the Q3 or 1 stop near the city walls. Alight at the Quayside stop, then walk towards the river and follow the path to your right. The city walls will be directly ahead after a short walk.
