Turn left onto Blackett Street, and continue straight until you reach the junction with the A186. Cross the road and continue onto Barras Bridge, where you'll see the Civic Centre ahead on your left. The Civic Centre Gardens are located directly next to the Civic Centre building.

If you prefer to take the Metro, head to the nearest Metro station, which could be Monument or Haymarket, depending on your location. Take the Metro towards South Shields or Tyne and Wear. Get off at the Haymarket station. After exiting the station, head south on Northumberland Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Barras Bridge. Cross over and you will find the Civic Centre Gardens to your left, next to the Civic Centre.
