Getting There

  • Walking

    From the centre of Jesmond, head south on Jesmond Dene Road towards the A1058. Turn left onto the A1058 and continue walking. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the junction with the A186. Continue straight onto the A186 (known as Grainger Street) for approximately 5-10 minutes. Grey's Monument will be on your right at 150 Grainger St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 5AF, marked by a tall column.

    From Jesmond, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Jesmond Road. Take the bus number 30 or 31 towards Newcastle city centre. The journey will take around 10 minutes.
