Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk towards Neville Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Quayside. Cross the road and walk along the Quayside, enjoying the view of the River Tyne. Keep walking until you reach the pedestrian bridge, known as the Millennium Bridge. Cross the bridge and you will find yourself in Gateshead. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A167(M). Continue along this road until you reach the next roundabout and take the second exit onto the A184. Follow the A184 until you see signs for the Hatton Gallery on your right, located on King's Road.

    From Newcastle's Eldon Square Bus Station, take the number 39 or 40 bus towards Gateshead. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Gateshead Interchange'. From there, follow the signs towards the A184 road. Walk along the A184 for about 5 minutes until you see the Hatton Gallery on your left, located on King's Road.

    Take the Tyne and Wear Metro from any station in Newcastle city centre, heading towards Gateshead. Get off at the Gateshead Interchange station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the A184. Walk for about 10 minutes along the A184, and you will find the Hatton Gallery on your left side on King's Road.
