Car
From Newcastle upon Tyne, take the A1 northbound. Follow signs for Berwick Upon Tweed. After approximately 45 miles, exit onto the A697 towards Wooler. Continue on the A697 for about 12 miles until you reach Wooler. Once in Wooler, take the B6341 towards the Cheviot Hills. Drive along this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Henhole Cheviot area. There is limited parking available nearby, so please be considerate of local residents.

Take a train from Newcastle Central Station to Berwick-upon-Tweed. The journey takes around 50 minutes. From Berwick, you can catch a bus (service 267) towards Wooler. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive in Wooler. From Wooler, you may need to arrange a taxi to reach Hen Hole, as it is about 5 miles away and public transport options are limited in this area.
