Getting There

    If you are driving, head towards Port Glasgow. From Glasgow, take the A8 towards Greenock. When you reach the roundabout at Greenock, take the first exit onto the A761. Continue on this road until you reach the next roundabout and take the second exit onto the B788. Follow this road until you see signs for Newark Castle. The castle is located at Castle Rd, Port Glasgow PA14 5NH. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

    For public transport, take a train from Glasgow Central Station to Port Glasgow. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
