If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Edinburgh. Take the A9 northbound towards Perth. After approximately 40 miles, take the exit onto the A85 towards Crianlarich. Continue on the A85 for about 20 miles until you reach the junction with the A827. Take the A827 towards Killin. Follow the A827 for around 5 miles, and you will arrive in Killin. Once in Killin, follow signs for Loch Tay, where you will find Kinnell Stone Circle located near the shores of the loch.

If you prefer public transportation, begin your journey in Edinburgh. Board a train from Edinburgh Waverley to Crianlarich; the journey will take around 1 hour and 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Crianlarich, you will need to catch a local bus to Killin. The bus service is operated by West Coast Motors and runs regularly. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Killin, follow the signs to Loch Tay, where Kinnell Stone Circle is located.

For those departing from Glasgow, start by taking the M8 towards Edinburgh. After about 30 miles, merge onto the M80 towards Stirling. Continue on the M80 for around 15 miles, then take the exit onto the M9 towards Stirling. Follow the M9, then take the A84 towards Callander. From Callander, take the A821 to join the A85. Follow the A85 until you reach Killin, then navigate towards Loch Tay for Kinnell Stone Circle.
