Getting There

    If you're driving, head to the A487 road. From anywhere within Snowdonia National Park, follow signs for Porthmadog. Once you reach Porthmadog, take the A497 towards Penrhyndeudraeth. Continue on the A497 for about 3 miles. Look for signs for Portmeirion; you will turn left onto the Borth-y-Gest road. Follow this road until you reach Portmeirion. There is a car park at the entrance where you may need to pay a parking fee (approximately £5 per day).
