Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Mumbles, which is a popular area in West Glamorgan. From the center of Mumbles, take the A4067 towards Swansea. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn right onto Limeslade Road. Continue until you reach the coast, where you'll find parking available near the Limeslade Beach area. From there, you can walk towards Burry Holms, which is accessible during low tide. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around £2 for a few hours.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Swansea to Mumbles. The bus service (such as the No. 22 or 23) operates frequently. Alight at the stop closest to Limeslade, which is near the coast. From there, it's a short walk to the beach area where you can access Burry Holms. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. The bus fare will typically cost around £2-£3 one way.

• Walking

  Once you have parked your car or alighted from the bus at Limeslade, you will need to walk towards the beach. Follow the coastal path towards Burry Holms. Remember that it is only accessible during low tide, so plan your visit accordingly to avoid getting stranded. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes along the coastal path, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area.
