Car
If you're traveling by car, start from central Westmorland and head south on the A590 road. Follow the A590 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the roundabout near Ulverston. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A5087 towards Lindal in Furness. Continue on this road for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Melton Terrace. The South Lakes Safari Zoo will be on your left. There is on-site parking available, which may incur a fee.

Public Transportation
To reach South Lakes Safari Zoo via public transportation, take a train from Westmorland to Ulverston. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ulverston station, you can take the Stagecoach bus service (number 6) towards Lindal in Furness. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Melton Terrace. From there, it's a short walk to the zoo entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route or are traveling from a remote location, consider taking a taxi from Ulverston. Taxi services are available at the Ulverston train station. The ride to South Lakes Safari Zoo will take around 10 minutes and should cost approximately £10-£15.
