Follow the signs for Gretna and once you are in the town, look for the A6071 road. The 'Welcome to England' sign is located near the border of Scotland and England. You will find it easily visible along the roadside. Parking is limited, so be mindful of where you stop. There are lay-bys nearby where you can safely pull over to take photos.

To reach the 'Welcome to England' sign by public transportation, take a train to Gretna Green railway station. From the station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a taxi to the sign. If you choose to walk, exit the station and head south on the A6071 road. Continue straight until you see the sign on your left. Taxis are available outside the station, and the fare should be around £5-£10 depending on traffic.
