Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, navigate to Whitby using the A171 or A169 roads. Once in Whitby, follow signs for the town centre. After entering the town, look for signs directing you to the Museum, as Pannett Park is adjacent to it. There is parking available in nearby car parks, such as the West Cliff car park, which is approximately a 10-minute walk to the park. Be sure to check for any parking fees, which typically range from £1.50 to £3.00 depending on the duration.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Whitby from nearby towns like Scarborough or Middlesbrough. Once you arrive at Whitby bus station, exit and head towards the town centre. From the bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Pannett Park. Walk past the railway station, continue straight down New Quay Road, then turn left onto the main road, which will lead you to the Museum. Pannett Park is located directly next to the Museum.

• Walking

  If you're already in Whitby, you can easily walk to Pannett Park. From the main shopping area on Church Street, head up the hill towards the Museum, which is located at Museum, Whitby YO21 1RE. Pannett Park is right next to the Museum. The walk will take approximately 10 minutes. Follow the signs for the Museum, and you will find the entrance to the park nearby.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Whitby to Pannett Park. Taxis are readily available throughout the town. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, typically around £5 for a short distance within the town, and it will save you the hassle of walking or parking.
