Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Halifax. From the M62 motorway, take the exit for A629 towards Halifax. Follow the A629 and then take a left onto Lister's Road.   If you prefer to travel by train, take a train to Halifax Railway Station. The station has regular services from major cities in Yorkshire. Upon arriving at Halifax, exit the station and catch the bus number 590 towards 'Shibden Hall'. The bus stop is just outside the station. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and the fare is typically around £2-£3. Get off at the Shibden Hall stop, and you will find the entrance a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bus

  For those using public transport directly, you can catch the bus from other areas in Halifax. Bus services such as 590 and 592 run regularly to Shibden Hall. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for precise timings. The fare should be around £2-£3, and the journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes from Halifax center.

• Walking

  If you are staying in or near Halifax and enjoy walking, Shibden Hall is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Head north on Northgate, then continue onto King Cross Road. Follow the signs for Shibden Hall, and you will arrive at the museum entrance.
