Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Punta del Este, start at Plaza Artigas. Head east on Avenida Gorlero until you reach the intersection with 2 de Febrero. Turn right onto 2 de Febrero and continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You’ll pass several shops and cafes, and soon you’ll see the tall lighthouse in the distance. The Faro de Punta del Este will be located at 2 de Febrero 9001-9002, which is right by the coastline.

    From the central bus terminal in Punta del Este, take the bus heading towards La Barra. Get off at the stop called 'Cerro de la Virgen' and from there, it’s about a 10-minute walk.
