Car
If you are traveling by car within Arches National Park, start from the Visitor Center, which is located at 2282 Arches Entrance Road. Head east on Arches Entrance Road (also known as the Park Road) for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with the Windows Section trailhead. Follow the signs for the Windows Section, which will direct you to the parking area. The Windows Section is approximately 1.5 miles from the parking lot, and you can hike from there to see the iconic arches.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, the options may be limited as Arches National Park does not have a comprehensive public transport system. However, some tour companies offer shuttle services from Moab to the park. If you secure a shuttle that includes stops at major attractions, make sure to book a tour that includes the Windows Section. Once you arrive at the park, you can follow the same route as those traveling by car, or ask your guide for the best way to access the Windows Section.
Hiking
After parking at the Windows Section trailhead, you will need to hike about 1.5 miles to reach the main attractions, including North Window and South Window arches. The trail is relatively easy and well-marked. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water, especially during warmer months. The hike offers stunning views and photo opportunities, so take your time and enjoy the scenery!
