From the Arches National Park Visitor Center, head east on Arches Entrance Road. Continue for about 8 miles, following the signs for the park's scenic drives. As you approach the junction for the Island in the Sky road, keep an eye out for signs indicating Upheaval Dome. Turn left onto Upheaval Dome Road. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach the Upheaval Dome trailhead parking area. Park your vehicle here and prepare for a short hike to the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
While there are limited public transportation options directly within Arches National Park, you can use the Moab Area Transit (MAT) service. Start at the Moab downtown area and catch the MAT bus heading towards Arches National Park. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to disembark at the Upheaval Dome stop.
