    From the center of Bryce Canyon City, head south on UT-63 towards the intersection with US-89. Continue on UT-63 for about 11 miles until you reach the junction with US-89. Turn right onto US-89 and continue for approximately 27 miles. Look for signs directing you to Escalante. When you arrive in Escalante, turn left onto Reservoir Rd. The Escalante Petrified Forest State Park will be located at 710 Reservoir Rd on your right.

    Starting from the Bryce Canyon City Visitor Center, head south on UT-63, which is bike-friendly. Follow UT-63 for about 11 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89. Turn right on US-89 and bike approximately 27 miles. Look for signs for Escalante, and then make a left onto Reservoir Rd. The park entrance is at 710 Reservoir Rd, on your right.
