Car
If you are driving from Moab, head south on US-191 for about 12 miles. Turn left onto the Canyonlands National Park entrance road. Continue on this road for approximately 22 miles, following signs for Island in the Sky. Once you reach the Island in the Sky Visitor Center, take the scenic drive, and follow the signs for Buck Canyon Overlook. The overlook will be on your left, with a designated parking area.

To reach Buck Canyon Overlook via public transportation, first take a shuttle or bus service from Moab to the Canyonlands National Park entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can either walk or take any available shuttle service within the park to the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. From there, you can walk along the scenic drive to Buck Canyon Overlook, which is approximately 5 miles from the Visitor Center. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule for return trips.
