Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the intersection of 1st Avenue and E Street in The Avenues neighborhood. Head east on E Street for about 0.3 miles. This will take you through a residential area, enjoying the historic homes along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with 2600 South. At this point, turn left (north) onto 2600 South.

    Continue walking north on 2600 South until you reach Sunnyside Avenue. Here, turn right (east) onto Sunnyside Avenue. This is a scenic route that will lead you directly toward the park. Keep walking for about 0.2 miles.

    After approximately 0.2 miles on Sunnyside Avenue, you will see the entrance to This Is The Place Heritage Park on your left at 2601 Sunnyside Ave S. The park is located just past the intersection of Sunnyside Avenue and 2600 East.
