Walking
From the Avenues, start at the intersection of 11th Avenue and E Street. Head east on E Street until you reach 13th Avenue. Turn left (north) on 13th Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Sunnyside Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Sunnyside Avenue. Continue walking east for about half a mile until you see the This Is The Place Monument on your left at 2601 E Sunnyside Ave. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

Public Transit (Bus)
Begin at the nearest bus stop in The Avenues. Take the UTA bus route 9 (which can be accessed from stops on 9th Avenue or 11th Avenue). Ride the bus towards the University of Utah. Get off at the stop at 2600 E Sunnyside Ave (near the monument). The bus fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip. The total travel time is approximately 15-20 minutes depending on bus schedules.

If you have access to a bike, you can bike to the monument. Start from 11th Avenue and E Street, heading east on E Street. Continue to 13th Avenue and turn left (north). Follow 13th Avenue until you reach Sunnyside Avenue and turn right (east). The bike ride will take about 15 minutes, and there are bike racks available at the monument for parking.
