  If you are traveling by car from Teshik-Kul Lake to Karakul Lake, start by heading northwest on the main road from Teshik-Kul for about 30 km until you reach the A-373 highway. Turn left onto the A-373 highway and continue for approximately 120 km. You will pass through several small towns along the way. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Khiva, as this will guide you towards your destination. After about 120 km, you will see signs for Karakul Lake. Turn right and follow the signs for the last 10 km directly to the lake. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as service stations can be sparse in this region.

  For those using public transportation, first take a shared taxi or a bus from Teshik-Kul Lake to the nearest major town, which is likely to be Aydar, approximately 30 km away. Once you reach Aydar, you can catch a bus or shared taxi towards Khiva. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they are heading towards Khiva, as some routes may vary. The journey from Aydar to Khiva can take about 2-3 hours. From Khiva, you will need to find another shared taxi or a bus that goes towards Karakul Lake, which is about 50 km away. Be prepared for some waiting time as public transportation can be less frequent in this area. Total travel time may range from 5-7 hours depending on connections and waiting times.
