Exit the Gregorian Etruscan Museum and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn left and continue walking straight along Viale Vaticano. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Turn right and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sisto bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight into the Trastevere district. Once you reach Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, you will find the Fontana di Santa Maria in Trastevere in the center of the square.

From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, exit and walk to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Vaticano. Take the bus number 81 or 870 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the bus stop 'Piazza Trilussa'. From there, walk straight towards the river until you reach the Tiber, then turn left.
