Exit the Gregorian Etruscan Museum and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you reach the entrance, turn left and walk along the Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the road and continue straight on Via di Porta Angelica until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Via San Giovanni in Laterano. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Via della Conciliazione. Turn right onto Via della Conciliazione, and shortly after, you will see Piazza delle Coppelle on your left.

From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop, which should be located near the Vatican Museums. Look for buses that head towards the city center. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Piazza delle Coppelle. After disembarking, walk towards the nearest intersection and head down Via delle Coppelle, which will lead you directly to the square.
