Walking
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit through the main entrance facing the square. Once outside, walk straight across St. Peter's Square towards the large obelisk in the center. Continue walking past the obelisk, and head towards the left side of the square, following the path that leads to the colonnades. As you reach the edge of the square, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk along this street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the bridge (Ponte Sant'Angelo) and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Panico. Turn right onto Via di Panico, and then take a left onto P.za Madama. Palazzo Madama will be on your left.

Public Transport
From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop, located on Via della Conciliazione. Catch Bus 64 towards Stazione Termini. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'P.zza Navona'. From there, walk towards the northwest along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II for about 5 minutes until you reach P.za Madama. Palazzo Madama will be located on your right side.
