Once you are out of the square, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, turn right onto Lungotevere Castello and continue straight. When you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi, turn left. Continue on Via Garibaldi for about 10 minutes, and you will see Fontana dell'Acqua Paola on your right.

    From St. Peter's Square, walk towards the nearest Metro station, which is Ottaviano (Line A). Exit the square and turn right onto Via della Conciliazione, head towards the Vatican Museums.
