    From the entrance of the Vatican Gardens, exit towards the main gate. Once outside, turn left and walk straight along Viale Vaticano. You will pass by the Vatican Museums entrance on your right. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Once at the square, continue past the Basilica of St. Peter, heading towards Via della Conciliazione. At the end of this street, you will find the Foro Romano entrance on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Vatican Museums, exit and turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Walk towards Piazza San Pietro, and from there head towards Via della Conciliazione. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. Turn right onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, where you will find the entrance to the Foro Romano.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Vatican Gardens, exit towards the main gate and walk to the nearest bus stop located at Piazza San Pietro. Take Bus number 64 or 81 towards Termini Station. Get off at the stop 'Cavalleggeri/San Pietro' and walk straight towards Via della Conciliazione. At the end of this street, turn right onto Via dei Fori Imperiali to find the entrance to the Foro Romano.
