From Vatican Library, exit the building and head towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Walk straight through the Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square), which is directly in front of you. The Vatican Necropolis is located beneath St. Peter's Basilica. Look for the entrance at the right side of the Basilica, marked with a sign for the Scavi Tour. Note that the entrance is not immediately visible from the square, so you may need to walk around the Basilica to find it.
