Public Transportation
If you are in central Rome, head to the nearest metro station and take Line A towards Battistini. Get off at the Ottaviano stop. From there, walk towards the Vatican City, crossing the road to reach Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight until you reach St. Peter's Square. The Vatican Obelisk is located in the center of the square. You can easily spot it as it is one of the tallest structures in the area.

If you are near the Pantheon, head south on Piazza della Rotonda towards Via del Seminario. Turn right onto Via del Corso and continue walking until you reach Piazza Venezia. From there, head towards the Via di San Pietro in Vincoli and follow the signs to St. Peter's Square. The Vatican Obelisk will be directly in front of you as you enter the square.

If you are driving, set your GPS to 'Piazza San Pietro, Vatican City'. Upon reaching the area, you may need to park in one of the nearby parking garages, as there is limited street parking. After parking, walk towards St. Peter's Square. The Vatican Obelisk is located right in the middle of the square, making it easy to find once you arrive.
