If you are near Vatican Radio, start by heading east on Via di Porta Cavalleggeri. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Viale Vaticano. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano and walk for another 300 meters. You will then see the entrance to the Vatican Gardens on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the gardens, where you will find the stairs leading up to Passeggiata del Gianicolo, which will take you to Faro di Roma. The monument is located at the top of the hill, offering beautiful views of Rome.

From Vatican Radio, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 982 or 31 towards 'Aurelia' or 'Piazza Venezia.' After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Aurelia' stop. From there, walk uphill for about 400 meters, following the signs to Passeggiata del Gianicolo. You will arrive at Faro di Roma, an iconic monument.
