Getting There

    From Vatican Radio, exit the building and head towards the main entrance of Vatican City. Walk towards the famous Saint Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro). It is about a 10-minute walk (approximately 800 meters). Enter the square, and you will see the grand Saint Peter's Basilica in front of you. The Tomb of Saint Peter is located underneath the basilica.

    If you prefer to take public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop (bus line 64) at 'Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina' which is approximately a 15-minute walk from Vatican Radio. Board the bus and get off at 'Piazza San Pietro'. From there, it’s a short walk to Saint Peter's Square where the entrance to the basilica is located. Please note that a single bus ticket costs about €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes.
