Authentic Vietnam Farming Full Day Small Group Tour

Authentic educational experience in a charming prime location a stone's throw from Hanoi

We had a great time at Ba Vi homestead. We were picked up in Hanoi by car, and an hour later we were in the green quiet countryside of Ba Vi. By bike we visited a cow farm and an organic vegetable and herb garden. There we learned to plant rice and catch fish with a bamboo trap. We were allowed to make our own yogurt, bake rice pancakes and all our questions were answered by the guide. We stayed there overnight in a neat and simple room and were spoiled with delicious food. There is a nice garden, a swimming pool to cool off and pool table, kicker table, ping pong to play. The 2nd day we went hiking and picnicking in Ba Vi mountain. On top of the top is a beautiful temple. It was a very charming place. Usually Vietnamese schoolchildren come on trips, but ideal for families during school holidays or weekends. A very authentic experience with very friendly and helpful staff.

Sit on a traditional sampan, sailing on the Ngo Dong River, and enjoy an unforgettable experience. The boatman rowed with his feet as we sailed through the caves and golden rice fields. It was so peaceful, just the sound of water and birds. A highlight of the day!
