Sometimes, the most memorable experiences are the ones that don't go quite as planned. I originally booked the Hanoi by Dawn workshop, but an unexpected issue with the morning pickup led to a last-minute change of plans. And that's where Son Trieu truly went above and beyond. He personally came to pick me up and arranged for me to join Frame of Hanoi instead. What followed was a wonderful photographic experience, full of valuable technical insights, fresh perspectives, and a different way of looking at the streets of Hanoi. I really appreciated Son's kindness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to making the experience exceptional. He also offered a very generous goodwill gesture, which meant a lot to me. It's rare to encounter someone who takes such personal responsibility and goes to such lengths to ensure guests have a great experience. What could have been a disappointing morning turned into one of my fondest memories of Hanoi. I came back home with wonderful memories, beautiful pictures and plenty of new techniques and ideas I want to try out.
