Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Hoan Kiem Lake, head northwest along Dinh Tien Hoang Street until you reach the intersection with Le Thai To Street. Turn right onto Le Thai To and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Tran Quang Khai Street. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Thanh Nien Street. Turn left onto Thanh Nien Street and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. The John McCain Memorial will be on your right at 7 Đ. • Public Transport - Bus

  From the Old Quarter, find a bus stop and take Bus No. 18 or No. 22, both heading toward Ba Dinh District. Disembark at the stop near Truc Bach Lake. From there, walk along Thanh Nien Street toward the west for about 800 meters. The John McCain Memorial will be on your left at 7 Đ. Thanh Niên, Trúc Bạch, Ba Đình.

• Cyclo

  You can hire a cyclo from any tourist area in Hanoi, such as Hoan Kiem Lake. Negotiate a price with the driver and ask them to take you to John McCain Memorial located at 7 Đ. Thanh Niên, Trúc Bạch, Ba Đình. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
