If you are driving, start by heading towards Chester, VA. From downtown Richmond, take I-95 South. Continue on I-95 for approximately 12 miles. Take exit 61A to merge onto Route 288 South toward Chesterfield. After about 6 miles, take exit 30 for Route 10 East. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 4 miles and then turn left onto Ware Bottom Spring Rd. Parker's Battery will be on your right at 1801-1841 Ware Bottom Spring Rd. There is no entry fee for the site, but parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start at the Richmond Main Street Station. Take the GRTC Pulse bus service towards Rocketts Landing. Transfer at the Main St Station to Bus Route 5 towards Chesterfield. You’ll need to inform the bus driver you want to get off at the intersection with Route 10. After disembarking, walk approximately 1 mile down Route 10 East until you reach Ware Bottom Spring Rd. Turn left, and Parker's Battery will be on your right. Please note that GRTC bus fares are $1.50 per trip, and transfers are available.

If you prefer biking, you can start from downtown Richmond and take the Virginia Capital Trail heading towards the south. After about 10 miles, you will reach Route 10. Continue along Route 10 for another 4 miles until you reach Ware Bottom Spring Rd. Turn left, and Parker's Battery will be on your right. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow all biking regulations. This route is approximately 15 miles long, so plan accordingly.
