    If you are starting from the Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) bus terminal, exit the terminal and head east on East Washington Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with South Sycamore Street. Turn left onto South Sycamore Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to the Petersburg National Battlefield on your right at 5001 Siege Road. The total walking distance is approximately 0.8 miles.
